Each on-demand capacity planning engagement is carried out online to anywhere in the world and requires no on-site visits, thereby realising excellent cost savings and providing immediate turnaround.

One of our unique offerings is our reporting of what-if scenarios against multiple hypervisors, including VMware ESX, Citrix XenServer, Microsoft Hyper-V, Parallels Virtuozzo Containers and Virtual Iron (Oracle).

All communication is carried out over https and collected metrics are securely transmitted to the highly secure Xtravirt VReady Portal. Alternatively, by prior agreement, data can be stored locally on your site until the end of the collection period and then transmitted via FTP, or to media, eg: USB, DVD.

A simple installation assisted by a qualified Xtravirt professional enables gathering of metrics for up to 60 days. These in turn are used to generate the customised report with all the critical information required to enable your business to implement a successful server consolidation or VDI project.

Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional, Microsoft Windows XP and Microsoft Windows Vista are considered desktop operating systems. All other operating systems are considered server operating systems and include Microsoft Windows Server, all Linux distributions, FreeBSD and Solaris.
